HOA #1 – Sun Lakes Country Club

The community was developed from 1972-2002.   It includes traditional houses and mobile homes.

Sun Lakes Country Club offers many activities for residents including swimming, tennis, fitness center, restaurant, lounge, golf.

The Sunset Grill is open daily for breakfast, lunch and on Thursday and Friday for dinner.

Mulligans Bar and Lounge has entertainment 3 times a week.  And, happy hour is served on the north patio.  Amenities include heated pools, fitness center, tennis, pickleball, fitness center, pitch & putt 9-hole golf, billiards, shuffleboard courts and 18-hole, Par 60 Execute golf course.  Visit the website:

Cottonwood was built between 1979 – 1995 with 2,736 homes.  Its amenities include a friendly restaurant, lounge, & ballroom.  For fun, residents and their guests will enjoy the 18-hole, Par 72 golf course with driving range, chipping green and putting green, tennis, pickleball, catch/release fishing, walking paths, bocce ball, billiards, racquetball, classrooms, library, (dancing/crafts), and swimming pools.   Visit:

Palo Verde

This community was built from 1983 to 1996.   It is a gated community with 1,073 homes.

It offers a large restaurant with indoor and patio seating, a casual lounge / bar, golf (Par 62), tennis, racquetball/handball, bocce ball, 9-hole putting green, horseshoes, basketball, walking paths

 Ironwood’s restaurant has a sports bar theme.  It serves casual foods and bar items.

Oakwood is the newest, most upscale community in Sun Lakes.  It was built from 1994-2006 and has 3,285 homes, including villas.

Oakwood has a fun, updated Stone & Barrel Taphouse & restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and live music on the weekends.   For menus and reservations:

The clubhouse has a large ballroom for live entertainment, dances and events.
